people think they are chief
financial officer (CFO). As a director, one of their main functions is
guide and controls the marketing plan creation. The director will correspond
visualize from the distance with perspective. Directors need to guide their
workers and collaborators to make their contributions for the plan elaboration since;
the actions of each area will purpose what to do. Also, they will draw the basic
lines and the integrants of each area will be developing the idea. Then, it
will reunite all of them and will give them the whole vision.
In the same
way, they will have the power over the marketing budget for the control,
investment and efficacy, that’s why, it is confused many times as chief
financial officer. Besides, the marketing director coordinates and motivates
their teamwork. This is third huge function and probably the most important. If
you motivate your workers, you will reach success.
Finally, we need to mark that the director
should be a leader with a wide experience to the work team management,
networking actions, motivation and productivity. Another aspect is that a good
director should be communicative, proactive, charismatic and polite.
