Holacracy: an innovative and successful business model

By Mauro Libi.- Imagine a company which the owner has the same power of decision as receptionist. Is kind of crazy and hard to believe, but it is true. This action it is called: holacracy. It is a system of business organization that is already adopted by large successful companies, where there is no boss.

It is a recent business management model. Is a new way to direct a company, through the subtraction of power of a hierarchical structure, replaced by a distribution system of authority. The objectives are to give more agility to the decisions and prepare our company for challenges and market needs.

The main subject behind this system is that a company should be structured to learn and respond quickly through the optimization of the information. The value to test in new markets, learning in quick cycles and the organization of employees network, clients and partners with common goals.

On the other hand, one of the main differences is that holocracy eliminates the structure in which each person has a fixed charge and function of every worker is described in an organization chart. On the contrary, it increases agility, innovation and makes easy the flow of ideas and encourages the enterprising spirit of workers. Also, allows the employee performs multiple functions inside the company and participates in different teams and their responsibilities are constantly updated to adapt to the needs of their team. The idea is that as entrepreneurs can take better advantage of the worker's skills, giving them total freedom to express theirs creativity.

Mauro Libi Crestani: How to prevents mental overload?

A leading psychologist claims whistling or singing helps distract the mind from trying too hard and prevents mental overload. Wow! The Dwarfs were right!  Whistling while you work makes you do your job better . The seven dwarfs knew from positive attitude and they knew how to get things done and enjoy it. They also knew the secret to staying calm. Far from being down to 'just nerves' , choking up  occurs when the brain finds itself with too many pieces of information to process, resulting in 'paralysis by analysis', argues Dr Sian Beilock of the University of Chicago. The same holds true when presenting a vital sales pitch, making an important golf putt or doing an acting audition. So you do not want to choke up and lose that sale, that golf game or that acting job, then  maybe you need to  whistle while you work.     Not just whistling. When you’re humming, singing, or laughing, it’s also difficult to be stressed. It puts...
