Mauro Libi Crestani: Can a positive attitude help you with public speaking ?

You have been asked to give a speech. The idea of speaking in front of a group of people terrifies you.  The last time you spoke, your knees were shaking as well as your voice. You heard your voice echo in your own ears loudly and your audience were so quiet that you could hear s pin drop. You saw all their eyes on you and they were judging you.  You hated having to talk publicly and promised yourself that you would  never put yourself through that again.

Now think, what got you so nervous? Oh, it was because your not a good speaker? Is that what it is? Somehow, you were a good enough speaker to get a spouse to marry you. Somehow, you are a good enough speaker to be able to talk to a customer and make the sale. Many of us are actually good speakers but when it comes to public speaking we allow our negative thought to take over and tell our self that we are not able to do it well. We get that negative feeling that our audience is judging us poorly. That they are not interested in what we have to say.

Let's say for a minute, that we keep a positive attitude about the speech. After all we do know our topic well or they would not have asked us to speak. The people that asked you to speak obviously think that you would be more interesting than anyone else or they would have asked that other person. You have to believe what they believe that you know your topic well and that you are interesting.

Now, you have no problem talking to your family and your friends and those are the people that really matter to your life. These people are strangers why should they get you nervous? They are a bunch of strangers who have enough confidence in you to be informative and entertaining. If these strangers believe in you, shouldn't you believe in yourself. ( Mauro Libi)

So be confident, believe that you can do this speech. Get up there and have a positive attitude about your abilities to master this talk. Get up there and talk loudly and with confidence and be informative, educational and funny. Mostly relax and enjoy it.

How does technology help in business communication?

One of the elements which has undoubtedly worked to support our growth, expansion and excellence projects in the last years, has been technology applied to business communication. I still remember when everything was reduced to memos, billboards, advertisements, photos and one or another printed publication in order to communicate inside the company; at the same time absolutely massive Advertising in existing media was in charge to go to the great public which included our customers and prospects.  Today we can say that with the advance of humankind, communication needed is also appearing. And our times make use of digital communication to improve business processes with more efficient and functional ways which allow more interaction, and overall, business productivity. Technology in communication expressed in the use of Internet, and with it, the Web, social networks, e-mails, multimedia resources (videos, infographics, memes, podcast, live broadcast, etc.); joine...

Mauro Libi: To succeed we must work hard

One of the secrets revealed by Bill Gates, who for over 22 years has held the top spot in Forbes magazine as the richest man in the world is that in order to reach the first place we must work tirelessly, focusing on target , tirelessly and remain convinced that the chosen path will lead to the goal.  And the people who succeed tend to stand out from the rest because they are always ready for action, always available to do more, and to generate expanded opportunities , do not usually complain of life, or the people and work. They are creating Positive changes in its wake. They are creative and know how to locate the possibilities where others see adversity. Bill Gates says he was always willing to work 20 hours a day if necessary and nowadays he does the same, despite being the world's richest man. Successful people know that the road to the top is hard. It does not always yield the expected immediate results. They know that at the end of the tunnel is the goal and they in...
