Work motivation is essential to reach success in business

   


By Mauro Libi.-   Work motivation is a concept that is part of positive psychology. It is essential for the companies’ successful development. It is based on keeping employees with a high stimulus in which they can develop positive attitudes and improve their performance.

     Some consultants see it as an essential technique for business because the presence of motivated employees who perform their functions to the best of their ability is beneficial to the organization. In order to reach this (for both, the company and the employee), it is necessary that begin in the entrepreneurs activities that promote an improvement in the performance of employees. For example, rewarding those who stand out by great care.

     In addition, is a complex process in which it is not enough that we know the needs of the individual to predict their behavior. Looking for the teamwork improvement and effectively lead the group, it is important to know the values, expectations, goals, intentions and attributions.

     Moreover, work motivation refers to the fact that employees prefer jobs that give them the opportunity to use their abilities and, offer a variety of responsibilities, freedom and feedback.

 Workers want remuneration systems and promotion policies fair, unmistakable and with their expectations. When the salary is perceived fair and based on the demands of the job, the level of skills of the individual and the levels of salary tends to have satisfaction. Not everyone is mainly interested in money. Many are willing to receive a lower salary in order to work in a place or in a position with less demands or to have more freedom in the responsibilities that they perform. Also, employees are interested in a work environment which provides personal comfort and make a good performance easy.

     Studies reveal that they prefer a physical environment that is neither dangerous nor uncomfortable. Not only do they earn money from their work (hardly always). The work satisfies their need for social interaction. It is not surprising that having good and friendly co-workers increases employee satisfaction. The boss behavior is important and a determinant element in the motivation at work and what’s more, in business success.
