The principles spending of a business



By Mauro Libi.-     Your business, (it doesn’t matter if it is a small company) will generate expenses that need to be met punctually and responsibly. Seen individually, they probably look insignificant, but added one by one will mean a good amount that should be prepared to pay out monthly. Likewise, every organization is subject to unexpected events that should be eliminated. That’s why, it is important to know what the regular expenses of your organization are, to try to reduce them to the maximum through the implementation of a good austerity plan that allows you to make savings.

     The main expense is the payment of employees. You have to pay your employees on time. Remember that your workers are your main allies. You have to pay salaries, social security fee, social benefits section and many more. At this point we need to make a reservation, more than an expense, payroll is a great investment.

     Another common expense is the office supplies and raw materials that are essential to make your business work and grow. Being an accounting item you have to pay attention to unnecessary expenses. Especially, if you are starting a business. On the other hand, the payment of services is an unavoidable expense. Monthly, you will have to face the payment of electricity bills, water, telephone, internet, gas and so far. In addition, to this the payment you need to control your website that gives you the organization’s identity.

     If you are a small entrepreneur, it is possible that you will be the person who takes care of all the steps of your company. However, to make grow your business, you might have to go to manager’s service. In the case of medium or large organizations, they have a staff to do that. Although, there are special schemes for SMEs (Small and medium-sized enterprises), they should budget for the 

commissions’ payment for banking services which, they could seem small payments, mean an expense that need to be budgeted. To sum up, be prepared to avoid surprises and stick to your budget so you don’t get any surprises at the end of the month.
