Mauro Libi: Three basic skills that every administrator must have

Without underestimating the knowledge (which is necessary) the administrator must possess some skills, which will allow him to perform with mastery when he executes his tasks and carries out his functions. The correct management of people and situations will be fundamental and this depends to a great extent on how it performs. It should be noted by ability, we understand the ability to transform knowledge into action which results in expected performance. Experts argue that there are three important skills for successful, technical, human, and conceptual management performance. Take a look of these three skills:

1. Technical skills: have to do with the use that is given of the specific knowledge that is possessed, as well as the facility that is available to apply techniques related to work and procedures. When we speak of technical skills, we are referring to doing, to be precise, to working with objects or tools, whether physical, concrete or material processes.

2. Human skills: are those that relate to dealing with people. This has to do with the ease of interpersonal and group relationship. As an example of personal interaction, we have the ability to communicate, motivate, coordinate, direct and resolve conflicts. This ability, in short, is about knowing how to work with people and through them.

3. Conceptual skills: would be those that imply a joint vision of the organization, the ease of working with ideas, concepts, theories and abstractions. When we make reference to the conceptual abilities, we speak of the thought, of the reasoning, of the diagnosis and of presenting possible solutions to the problems. It is essential that the administrator has or is made of these skills, as the appropriate management of them will allow you to deal with the different situations which you have to deal every day. To the extent that a manager ascends inside the company or undertaking will require less technical skills and need more conceptual skills.

How does technology help in business communication?

One of the elements which has undoubtedly worked to support our growth, expansion and excellence projects in the last years, has been technology applied to business communication. I still remember when everything was reduced to memos, billboards, advertisements, photos and one or another printed publication in order to communicate inside the company; at the same time absolutely massive Advertising in existing media was in charge to go to the great public which included our customers and prospects.  Today we can say that with the advance of humankind, communication needed is also appearing. And our times make use of digital communication to improve business processes with more efficient and functional ways which allow more interaction, and overall, business productivity. Mauro Libi: Social responsibility can improve your financial performance

Social responsibility represents benefits for the society where the organizations are located, but for the companies too , since their effects are also felt in profitability.Just as you read it, it is proven that the risk of affecting the profitability of companies and enterprises grows when there is no specific application of responsibility with the organization's environment, nor transparency and business ethics. It is therefore, essential that organizations incorporate socially responsible actions into their management and, the benefits go beyond philanthropy or timely help that companies can provide to the communities where they operate. The actions of social responsibility are highly beneficial for organizations beyond the immediate effect that their action generates in society, and in the long term, the contribution that companies and enterprises make in their environment help generate a virtuous circle and healthy economic development.  How they do this...

Mauro Libi Crestani: Change initiatives are not just whole scale business transformations

By  Mauro Libi Crestani.  Business hire management teams to figure out new ways to solve customer problems, improve products, create new revenue streams, and reduce costs. This involves creating new ideas for change. Technology, innovation, products and the way of doing business means coming up with new ideas for staying competitive in today’s quick moving market. These make-or-break moments can also be leadership changes, restructurings, culture changes, system implementations, operational excellence programs, workforce programs or new market expansions. This involves time and money. Given all the investment in change and its importance to a company’s future health it is important to take note that….. A seminal study by Harvard Business School professor emeritus...
