Mauro Libi: Tell us how your desk is and we will tell you who you are

Your desk speaks for you. According to his presentation we can say that the person who works in it is a disorderly or organized person, methodical or improvising, traditional or creative. For the entrepreneur or simply for the bosses, the desks can reveal the nature of his employees, his values.

Let's look at four keys that can help you understand the personality of your team members.

1. Tidy desktop says reliable staff, and not only that, the order on the desktop reveals that the person is punctual. They are people oriented to action, have initiative and are organized in their work. Understand that this does not mean that people whose desks are disorderly are not trustworthy. We are talking about image. Creative people are usually a bit messy, but this mess can be a nasty matter for some people.

2. The unusual objects on the desk speak of creative people and willing to live new experiences. Innovative companies attract creative people and promote people who are able to pass the boundaries.

3. Far from belief, desks with posters and motivational messages reveal the presence of neurotic people and that proliferation of phrases is only there to calm the anxiety.

4. Meanwhile, extroverted people prefer spaces, desks and inviting offices, to be exact, with the door always open as a call to approach, to relate, to talk, to establish a friendship, and your desk, what does it say about you?

And our times make use of digital communication to improve business processes with more efficient and functional ways which allow more interaction, and overall, business productivity. Mauro Libi: Social responsibility can improve your financial performance

Social responsibility represents benefits for the society where the organizations are located, but for the companies too , since their effects are also felt in profitability.Just as you read it, it is proven that the risk of affecting the profitability of companies and enterprises grows when there is no specific application of responsibility with the organization's environment, nor transparency and business ethics. It is therefore, essential that organizations incorporate socially responsible actions into their management and, the benefits go beyond philanthropy or timely help that companies can provide to the communities where they operate. The actions of social responsibility are highly beneficial for organizations beyond the immediate effect that their action generates in society, and in the long term, the contribution that companies and enterprises make in their environment help generate a virtuous circle and healthy economic development.  How they do this...

Mauro Libi Crestani: Change initiatives are not just whole scale business transformations

By  Mauro Libi Crestani.  Business hire management teams to figure out new ways to solve customer problems, improve products, create new revenue streams, and reduce costs. Every change starts with an idea—a vision of what could happen to create a tangible benefit for an organization. But ideas are not enough. Change initiatives are not just whole scale business transformations. These make-or-break moments can also be leadership changes, restructurings, culture changes, system implementations, operational excellence programs, workforce programs or new market expansions. This involves time and money. Given all the investment in change and its importance to a company’s future health it is important to take note that….. A seminal study by Harvard Business School professor emeritus...
