Mauro Libi: Become someone more productive in 13 steps

It is not an easy thing to increase productivity because something that stops us is the time. Entrepreneurs would want to have more than 24-hours, but this is impossible, so what is appropriate is trying to manage the days in the best way possible. We show you these 13 steps that can be very useful for you:

1. Take a time for you. You can’t dedicate all hours to others and to your business. It is also essential to spend some time with yourself. Get into the habit of taking away at least half an hour to attend to your personal affairs every day.
2. Disconnect when you need to spend time on a particular issue. Put distracting elements away from you when you need to concentrate on important work.
3. Keep a daily plan. Establish a daily list of the issues that you have to do and, except for contingencies or unforeseen circumstances.
4. Don’t be afraid of technology. There are many tools and applications that can make things easier for you every day.
5. Learn to say "no". You can’t give an affirmative answer to everything that is proposed. If you believe that an issue or project doesn’t suit you, then say no to your proposer. Anything that distracts you from your own goals is counterproductive to you.
6. Answer. Related to point 4, make use of your devices or smartphones to respond when you are out of your office. If it is in your possibilities, respond because it can save a lot of time and processes.
7. Get rid of negative people. Don’t let them absorb your energy.
8. Carry out those tasks that you don’t like. Not all the activities we have to do are always to our liking, but sometimes they are the keys to business. Do not delay them any longer. Take advantage of the early hours of the day when you have more vigor.
9. What you can solve immediately, solve it. This could save you further inconveniences and problems.
10. Exercise, even if it's half an hour. Get up a half hour earlier and walk, jog or do some gymnastics. This is a great way to recharge your batteries and start the day with energy.
11. Delegate. Don’t pretend to do it all by yourself. That’s why you have a team, so delegate functions and dedicate to the planning and supervision.
12. Avoid mishaps or leave your partners on board: write everything down and check your notes constantly.
13. Set a schedule. Organization is very important to achieving productivity. Developing a timetable that addresses priorities and urgent matters can help you to manage your time efficiently and effectively.

Mauro Libi Crestani: Change initiatives are not just whole scale business transformations

By  Mauro Libi Crestani.  Business hire management teams to figure out new ways to solve customer problems, improve products, create new revenue streams, and reduce costs. This involves creating new ideas for change. Technology, innovation, products and the way of doing business means coming up with new ideas for staying competitive in today’s quick moving market. Every change starts with an idea—a vision of what could happen to create a tangible benefit for an organization. But ideas are not enough. Change initiatives are not just whole scale business transformations. These make-or-break moments can also be leadership changes, restructurings, culture changes, system implementations, operational excellence programs, workforce programs or new market expansions. This involves time and money. Given all the investment in change and its importance to a company’s future health it is important to take note that….. Mauro Libi Crestani: Negative attitude can destroy your career and personal life

I once went into a car dealership for a car purchase. I was meet by a salesman who was dressed in a well ironed suit and he had the biggest smile. He introduced himself by name and he asked for my name. He offered me something to drink as we discussed my desires in a car.  Let me assure you, that you came to the right place. He had been with that dealership for years. His customers stayed with him each time they wanted a new car.  I was told that this car dealership was about positive attitude. The salespeople , the finance  department , the service department all had to be positive that their customers were treated with the best service and that all their needs and concerns were listened to and acted on. I felt so positive that this was the place for me.  I have a married friend  who in sales. He is always depressed and always quiet. He is my friend and I once went to him to purchase his product for my company. He was telling me how sales were down, that he was not sure that he w

How does technology help in business communication?

One of the elements which has undoubtedly worked to support our growth, expansion and excellence projects in the last years, has been technology applied to business communication. I still remember when everything was reduced to memos, billboards, advertisements, photos and one or another printed publication in order to communicate inside the company; at the same time absolutely massive Advertising in existing media was in charge to go to the great public which included our customers and prospects.  Today we can say that with the advance of humankind, communication needed is also appearing. And our times make use of digital communication to improve business processes with more efficient and functional ways which allow more interaction, and overall, business productivity. Technology in communication expressed in the use of Internet, and with it, the Web, social networks, e-mails, multimedia resources (videos, infographics, memes, podcast, live broadcast, etc.); joined wi
